LEARN MORE ABOUT FARM & HOME

About the Company
Since 1936, Farm & Home Oil Company has been supplying energy products to people and businesses in central and eastern Pennsylvania. Over that time, the company has grown to become one of the region's most reliable, capable, and efficient energy suppliers.

With its strength unequalled by virtually any other regional heating oil company, Farm & Home continues to pride itself on superior customer service. Today, Farm & Home has five divisions and nearly 200 dedicated employees who understand the importance of providing customers with an uninterrupted supply of fuels and HVAC services. The supplier has a direct connection to the Buckeye Pipeline, company-owned storage of 32 million gallons throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, and access to other terminals on the eastern coast of the United States.

Company Leadership
Three generations of the Longacre family are associated with Farm & Home Oil Company helping it to progress and evolve in order to better serve their customers. The Longacres are a close-knit family who have lived in the area for decades. Throughout that time, Longacre family members have been actively involved in both the community-at-large and the business community.

The family's association with Farm & Home Oil Company began in 1980 when Kenneth Longacre joined the board of directors. In 1990, Kenneth acquired the company, and in the decade that followed, transformed it into a regional supplier of fuel oil and related products built on a foundation of outstanding customer service. Like his father before him, Kenneth understands the role business plays in contributing to a better community and has made community service a priority in his life.

In 1998, Kenneth began the process of turning the company over to his children. Today, Richard, Kenneth Jr., Donna, Beth and a large, extended family of Longacres are working together to advance the company. By honoring a legacy of excellence, while building their own identity through leadership and sound business practices, the new generation of Longacres is setting a course that will successfully guide the company for years to come.
